This page tracks changes to the website itself: its look, navigation, new pages and fixes. New and edited posts are not listed here.
The site is built with Hugo and a customized LoveIt theme, hosted on GitHub Pages, with the source on GitHub.
- A new minimal black-and-white design, with reworked colors, type and layout.
- A Featured section on the home page shows selected posts as cover cards.
- A new Friends page lists my friends' websites.
- A new Site updates page — the one you are reading.
- Clicking the table of contents no longer lands in the wrong place while images are still loading.
- Post images no longer shrink to half width on high-resolution screens.
- The light/dark switch now takes effect on every click, and the language switch is a small menu that matches the site.
- Post lists, quotes, dividers and the navigation bar are tighter and clearer.
- Fixed site search.

- The sidebar table of contents in long posts now expands and collapses as you read.
- Added a short introduction to the home page.
- Post images now load from an image host and share one caption style.
- Adjusted the body font.
- Added a visitor counter to the footer.
